En el 2002, Sovereign Grace Music produjo Sea la Gloria Sólo a Ti, un álbum con doce de nuestras canciones en inglés traducidas al español. Ocho años después, es un gozo anunciar el lanzamiento de Allí en la Cruz, esperando que sea el primero de muchos álbumes escritos y cantados por miembros Hispanos de iglesias de Sovereign Grace. Varios músicos contribuyeron al álbum que especialmente presenta las canciones y voz de Mauricio Velarde. La música es una mezcla de sonidos latinos y pop-rock moderno, con letras basadas en la Escritura y enfocadas en el gran amor de Dios al enviar a Jesucristo para ser nuestro Salvador crucificado y resucitado. Oramos que tú y tu iglesia se gocen al escuchar y cantar estas canciones tanto como nosotros lo hicimos al producirlas.
(In 2002, Sovereign Grace released Sea la Gloria Solo a Ti, twelve of our English songs translated into Spanish. Eight years later, it is a joy to release Allí en la Cruz, the first of what we hope will be many worship albums written and sung by Hispanic members of Sovereign Grace churches. Various musicians contributed to the album, but it features the songs and voice of Mauricio Velarde. The music is a mix of Latin American sounds and modern pop-rock, and the lyrics are rooted in Scripture and focus on God’s great love in sending Jesus Christ to be our crucified and risen Savior. We pray you and your church find as much joy in listening to and singing these songs as we did in producing them.)
