Gospel Powered Parenting
Item # B3815-00-11
William Farley
How can we hope to be effective parents when attacks on the family are stronger than ever?
The answer, writes William Farley, is the gospel. In this book, Farley keeps the explosive power of the gospel front and center in the task of parenting. He explains how the good news of Jesus Christ’s death for sinners provides all we need to lead our children well. “I am convinced,” he writes, “that the gospel is sufficient to answer all our parenting questions.”
Most chapters include study questions, useful for individual reflection or group discussion.

Reviews
“Gospel-Powered Parenting is a wise, enduring prescription for parenting because it is joyously biblical and comes from a pastor-theologican who has done it—as his family wonderfully attests.” —R. Kent Hughes, senior pastor emeritus, College Church, Wheaton
“It told me exactly what I needed to hear at this moment and did so more than any other parenting book I’ve read. It had just the right combination of affirmation (your struggles are universal struggles, your joys are universal joys) and exhortation to both encourage and challenge me in all the right ways. I highly recommend it to any and every parent.” —Tim Challies, author, The Discipline of Spiritual Discernment
